China Mars probe enters Mars orbit

Welcome to Mars: China’s Tianwen-1 space probe has entered Mars orbit, making China the 6th country in history to reach Mars! The space probe includes an orbiter, a lander, and a rover that will explore the Martian surface. The lander is expected to make descent in May, giving China the distinction of being the only other country other than the U.S. if successful.
