Thailand announces plan to vaccinate 50% population by 2022

Following positive Covid19 news out of India today, Thailand, the Land of Smiles, has also announced it will vaccinate 50% of its population in 2021, and aim for 70% by 2022. The kingdom signed a deal with AstraZeneca and will be locally produced by Siam Bioscience which is owned by the Crown Property Bureau, controlled by King Maha Vajiralongkorn himself.
