New Zealand announces budget surplus

New Zealand has become one of the first countries since the 2008 financial crisis to achieve a budget surplus. Its economy grew by 4% and plans to spend the surplus extending free doctor visits for kids 5 through 12, increase paid maternity leave from 14 to 18 weeks, and reduce tax on car ownership.
