Japan picks 2020 word of the year

As part of an annual national tradition, Japan has picked its 2020 word of the year: “Mitsu”. The word means “dense”, and the term “San-Mitsu” was widely used to promote social distancing (i.e. “not too dense/crowded”) to keep Coronavirus at bay in Japan this year.
