Pfizer and BioiNTech file for emergency authorization

Pharmaceutical giant Pfizer and German biotech firm BioNTech have filed for an emergency authorization use from the U.S. FDA (Food and Drug Administration) today. With over 250,000 Americans dead and over 11,000,000 infected, the rush is on to get the vaccine out to as many people as possible.
