Rare oldest shark species caught in Japan

The oldest species in the shark taxonomy, a rare Megamouth shark, was caught off the coast of Shizuoka, Japan last month. The shark was only the 58th of its species to ever be caught in history and is luckily not a publicity stunt for the upcoming Gozilla movie. A recent catch of a rare Goblin shark, also raises eyebrows, but very interesting indeed! http://www.foxnews.com/science/2014/05/08/rare-megamouth-shark-caught-off-japan/
